Animals posted here are stray, abandoned, or surrender Intakes from the City of Killdeer Police, Dunn County Sheriffs, Partnering Rescues and Residents. They've been in the care of LongO&Co., LLC and Calkins's Farm and Rescue which have been serving the Killdeer community and Dunn County areas for years as stray-holding facilities as there is No Shelter or Impound within Dunn County. Due to lack of adoptions, funding or agreed upon support - we've made the difficult decision to close our Rescues. These animals may/may not be UTD on vaccinations, need annual visits or to be spayed/neutered. That is the new owners responsibility. That is why there is no adoption/rehome fees attached. We are simply seeking good homes suited to provide the daily care, shelter and other things they will be committing to by adopting a rescue and signing the adoption agreement. Our Application process is a direct in person contact either by phone call, text or FB to discuss further details of each individual animal, the meeting or the adoption of your possible new companion.
