We are selling 35-40 bred cows from our Howrey Angus cow herd - located in Sterling, North Dakota.
They are due to start calving on May 5th and were exposed to bulls for 50 days. They are all bred to Howrey Angus bulls.
About half of the cows are non registered but still Purebred Howrey Angus cows. For one reason or the other we were never able to register these cows.
There are also 6 cows that are 3/4 Angus and 1/4 Simmental. These cross bred cows are out of Purebred Howrey Angus dams and sired by a 1/2 blood SimAngus bull. they are really good cows.
The average age of the unregistered cows is 5yrs old.
We are also selling 10-15 Registered cows. They are older Howrey Angus cows with an average age of 10yrs old. These girls have calved every year and are ideal candidates for you to retain some daughters or sons from to improve the longevity of your cow herd.
We are focused on breeding and providing maternal genetics that are proven to fit a low-input environment and management practices base on maximizing profit per acre of grass. Contact us if these cattle interest you.
