Jersey Cows

Were downsizing as were starting a new chapter of life. Together theyre a better deal!

Heres the girls we are rehoming:

1. Cordelia.

A2/a2 jersey Cow in milk

She is a fantastic girl who throws a deep cream line. We have been selling shares and milk for several years and are just in the process of scaling back due to starting homeschool with our young kids. We see no faults in her. Easily handled and an easy keeper this sweet cow would be perfect to start off or continue your milking herd. She just calved her second bull calf in June (selling her without the calf). We are milking several gallons with twice a day milking. (Im pretty confident she would take a calf if you would want to spike on one or two to lessen the necessity of milking twice a day.) Shes a2/a2 and pure jersey. With her great temperament, she is well suited for a beginning milker even. We have both hand and machine milked her. She walks great with a halter even for our young kids. Right now we are milking her on a 12-14 hour routine but she could be switched to a OAD schedule if that would work better at her new home. Included in her sale price will be her milking Stanchion (if it is desired). She is so gentle our young kids (5 & 6) are even able to help (with only minimal parent help).

2. Darby.

A2/a2 yearling jersey heifer

Darby is a great little lady with fantastic line. She was Born Sept. 17 2023 and is pure A2/A2 jersey. She leads like a dream on a halter since weve been working with her since she was small. Born on our farm from our best milking cow. Shes been 100% grain free up to this point. Horn-free because we banded them.
