Now hiring a shop mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of equipment. Position physically implements demand, deferred and preventative repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment in accordance with Company standards of quality and safety. Work includes but is not limited to truck body, engine, tires, drive train, or exhaust system, trailers, blowers, line trimmers, mowing machines, tillers, tree spades, or other machinery.
Salary: $20+/hr Depending on Experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Complete repairs, schedules maintenance, and inspections of vehicles and equipment. Works with highest regard for safety and completes work with maximum efficiency. Completes all work in designated time allotted
Coordinate equipment and vehicle repair and maintenance, including semi-annual servicing, winter repair effort, and emergency repairs
Ensures vehicles and equipment do not come back immediately for same repair; makes repairs completely and correctly the first time
Performs all work with priority as assigned by Shop Manager and does not deviate from assigned priorities unless expressly authorized by appropriate management
Respond to roadside service calls from company vehicles
Report parts and supply needs to Shop Supervisor
Fosters a spirit of cooperation among co-workers and different divisions, especially in times when conflicting vehicle repair order priorities many exist among vehicle users
Works with all personnel operating vehicles and equipment to ensure items are being operated correctly to limit abnormal wear and tear. Trains field personnel of operation of any vehicle or equipment as needed
Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the vehicles, shop and any other area work is performed. Ensures proper security of tools and equipment in shop
Helps keep vehicle and equipment manuals and technical bulletins filed and organized
